How to best use OneSearch

Before you even begin searching in OneSearch, it's best to sign in using your Trinity network username and password.

Once you are signed in you can:

  • View full search results (some databases only show results when you're signed in)
  • Request books and other materials from CTW
  • Create favorites lists
  • Export citations to Refworks and Endnote Web
  • Renew books and videos that you have checked out from the library

What is CTW?

The acronym CTW stands for three schools that you can easily borrow books and other material from. C for Connecticut College, T for Trinity College and W for Wesleyan University.  As a Trinity College student you have the same borrowing privileges at Connecticut College and Wesleyan University as you have here at Trinity. You can even go to their libraries and borrow materials using your Trinity College ID Card.

Start with OneSearch

Click the OneSearch image below to get to the Library home page. By default, OneSearch will return physical books in the Trinity Library and e-books that you have access to, as well as physical books that you can request through CTW.

Choose "Full Text Online" from the facets on the left after you search to see only e-book results.
