Digital Collections & Digitization

The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Department selectively plans and engages in digitization (scanning or reformatting) of College Library, Archives, and Special Collections Materials. All digitization projects and requests are fulfilled and managed by the Digital Asset Management Department, which is comprised of the Digital Archivist, Digital Media Librarian, and student staff. Digitized materials are then stewarded and made accessible according to the Digital Preservation Policy.

This Web Archives Policy was created to address the unique needs and circumstances of preserving the College’s web presence. The capture of dynamic web content, which documents the activities, events, culture, and history of Trinity College, is for historical, research, and administrative purposes.
