This section focuses on news sources. News media reports daily on political issues, and are thus very timely. The intended audience of these sources is the general public, meaning language is very digestible for non-experts. Try limiting your search for news from the past few years. Or, if you are looking for articles related to Citizens United, limit your search to articles from 2008-2010. If you come across a statistic or study in an article, track down the original source. Also, be aware that there is much more bias in news media than there is in academic publishing. Always ask: Who is the author? And, what is their motivation/agenda? When in doubt, do additional research.
