The Student Technology Assistant (STA) Program at Trinity College is designed to foster the integration of a variety of instructional technology tools and services into courses in support of the teaching and learning mission of the college. Faculty and students can obtain instructional support on a broad range of issues via this program.
STA students work with faculty members and students on topics such as:
- Oculus Rift VR support
- 3d printing
- Digital Video and audio production including iMovie, Garageband and Audacity
- Moodle support
- Powerpoint, Keynote and other presentation tools
- Poster design
- WordPress
- Image editing using Photoshop
- Digitization of VHS tapes, slides and overhead transparencies

- The Incubator
The Incubator is a collection of digital work from students, staff, and faculty at Trinity College, designed to showcase how our community uses technology in innovative and creative ways. Our goal with The Incubator is to offer examples that can encourage others who might be interested in embarking on their own digital work.
- Podcasting
Two new podcast studios were created last fall at Trinity College’s Raether Library and Information Technology Center. These studios, known as Story Labs, will enable faculty, staff, and students to record and edit their own podcasts, audio stories, and other media on professional equipment that is available to them 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
